Oct 21, 2017  Hello, I purchased Ground Control Anthology on Steam and when I try to run the game, even in compatability modes or with my second monitor off, it crashes instantly. Does anyone know how to get Ground Control to work on Windows 10? It sucks to have bought the game but not be able to play it. ‎QGroundControl provides full flight control and configuration for ArduPilot or PX4 powered vehicles. The goal for QGroundControl is improved ease of use for new users as well as high end feature support for experienced users.

.: May 31, 2000.: June 8, 2000Mode(s),Ground Control is a video game developed by and published. It was first released onto the PC in 2000.

The game focuses on a conflict between two factions vying for control of a planet and a series of alien artefacts contained on its surface, in which players take the role of an officer for each faction, working to achieve their objectives through using a variety of futuristic style of troops, engaging different tactics that make use of their units, the terrain and careful planning. An expansion for the game was released later that year, before both it and the game were re-released together as a bundle pack called Ground Control Anthology, the following year. The game itself spawned a sequel titled in 2004, which improved upon the game's graphics and game mechanics. Contents.Gameplay The game features full control over the camera, allowing the player to freely view each mission's battlefield from any angle, from a to the perspective of one of their units at ground level. Because it is a game, Ground Control does not use the mechanics of resource and economic management as found in some real-time strategy games (such as ), discouraging players from conducting strategies.

Instead, proper use of tactics with the units they have available is necessary in order to complete the objectives set out for them on each mission. The squad configuration screenBefore starting with a mission, players must first decide on what troops to bring to the battlefield, which are divided up into squads that must be loaded onto orbital dropships available to them so that they can be transported and deployed onto the battlefield once a mission starts (with some exceptions). As reinforcements cannot be called for during a mission, proper troop selection is important for each mission. This section needs expansion. You can help.

Alright guys, I found a fix to this.By going to the game folder under Steam, I was able to chose the game to run in Windows 98 Compatibility mode with '640x480' and 'Run as Administrator' option after I right click the gc.exe file and go to properties. The game then ran smoothly on fullscreen.I launched the game by double clicking the gc.exe file. After that, I changed the resolution to 1024x768 in the game options ( it was the highest available ), exited the game and unticked the 640x480 option back in properties window. Game can still be ran as long as you don't launch it through Steam. Also, quick note, Rebellion launcher resets your compatibility settings. As for hardware info, the Intel HD Graphics 530 is capable on running the game.
